Located next to the church in Nettlebed, the creamery was founded in 2015 by Rose Grimond to utilise the organic milk produced by her Grandfather’s 1950s farm, less than two miles down the road in Bix. The Creamery produces three multi award-winning cheeses; Bix, Highmoor and Witheridge, as well as kefir and cultured butter.
The Cheese Shed is designed for walkers, cyclists, families and anyone wanting to pop in for a healthy and delicious snack and hot drink. Customers can choose from a delicious cheese toasty, kefir smoothies, local coffee and a variety of locally baked cakes. There is also the Shed Shop onsite where customers can purchase Nettlebed Creamery’s own organic cheese, milk, kefir and butter along with bread, eggs, honey, chocolate and kimchi and many other high-quality items.
You can purchase creamery produce from The Hatch, every Monday, or direct from The Cheese Shed, every Tuesday – Sunday, both located on-site at the creamery. The Cheese shed is open Tues-Fri 8.30am – 3pm and weekends 9am-3pm.
